I have had several revolvers that were bobbed and I preferred it. For a pocket carry, it meant no chance of catching on clothes during a draw. On my L-frame revolvers that I carried on duty, it eliminated the risk of being accused of "FIRST COCKING a GUN AS A THREAT". I only shoot revolvers double action, so the loss of the single action was not a problem.
