I just got back. It was aweome. I met the president of the NRA, and of Sabre Defense, met the AMU guys (they were amazing) and some SF guys from Fort Bragg. Sabre was giving away magpul Pmags. (no, i am not kidding, but they didn't give all that many away. I started talking to the regestration people, and they gave me a "range bag" which had a lot of cool stuff in it, including larue tacticals "beverage entry tool". That is the coolest thing ever. EVER. :D:D:D:D) Barrett had a guy there with their new M98 .338 lapua rifle, that was pretty cool too.

Sorry for not posting earlier. According to them, yeah this will be, they used to have it in VA, but the county they did it in dragged their feet about a "special event" license...then they found this place. They hopeto be able to continue to hold the thing here, as they like the terrain better, it is more natrual, more challenging.

hehe, i just went back for the awards. FN had a big truck there, with a lot of their rifles and handguns (real MGs too!) and JP rifles had a stand. Suddenly, i feel the need for a new AR, one for 3-Gun.

John C. Sigler (prez of the NRA) was given a rifle by the guys at Sabre, and as a result, the people from FNH USA, Techwear, and CZ all decided to help John get into 3-Gun, they gave him a FNH shotgun, a REALLY nice CZ, and a few shirts for competing in. (According to them, watch next year for him competing:D) Overall this has been a really cool thing, and if anyone can make it next year...GO!
