I will be using 150gr .311 bullets. I already found a few loads for this bullet in the 46-47gr range. But it would be great if anyone could recommend, or had a pet load for a PSL rifle.

Here's what I found so far:
150 Sierra spitzer .311 inch Alliant RL-15 46.5 2,689
Remarks: variation (fps): 23; group (inches): 2.75; poor accuracy

150 Sierra spitzer .311 inch Alliant RL-15 47.5 2,737
Remarks: variation (fps): 35; group (inches): 2.25

Thanks

Don't have a PSL - but I do load x54r for Mosin's.

Went through a pound of RL-15 and never had any magic happen. Some think it's the berries, but I do not.

150gr bullet try either IMR4895 or H4895 in the 45gr. to 46gr. range. That is a combo I use in competition.

I use the sierra 150gr. .311 GameKing with Winchester brass and a Winchester primer. I think my load was 46.3gr. of IMR 4895. I have a M-38 It works great for me.

N4Z, what do you mean by 'berries'?

Also, i have a question concerning Alliant powder. I have a pound of the RL-15, but when i got it home, i noticed that the container wasn't really sealed. I opened it and noticed there was a loosely fitting foam 'seal', but it was stuck in the cap. It looks like it just wasnt applied right, is this common with Alliant or should I return this one?
