I've noticed these on sale lately for under $200. How are the triggers on them? I haven't held one ...just looked sat them in the case. They look to be in excellent condition. Kinda peeked my curiosity.
After I did some basic polishing (side of hammer & trigger and inside frame in both of those areas) then cleaned and lubed it, the trigger was great. Easily the best DA Ruger trigger I've ever messed with.
BTW, under $200 is the best price I've ever seen on these guns. I got mine for $200 out the door, but the circumstances were unique.
Wife has NIB, not LEO trade-in. Short bbl, I prefer the 3". Polished the Speed-six: silky!!!!!! 101 is stock, very nice, but I'm gonna have to do da little judicious polishing! At $200 I'd take a truck load!! Sweet piece! (The SP-101)
I got one from Gander Mt. but the price was $299. I got to take my pick and I got a nice one with very little use or flaws.
I cut the bbl down to 2 1/2" and slab sided it and now it serves as my bulldog for when I want power in a small package. It is a sweet shooter with very little recoil but is still small enough to fit in a glove box or heavy coat pocket. Think of it as a 2 1/2" bbl S&W 686 and you get the idea. I have some pics if you care to do a search.
I took the plunge and got one. Albanian- I hate to tell you this...but the Gander Mountain here dropped the price another $100 plus an additional 5%.
This one was $189.
