Anyone have any idea how old these are?

My oldest sleeve of CCI primers were priced at 69 cents for 100, not sure of the date of purchase. I would guess 80's?

Thanks for the info gents. Ill be picking them up sometime in the next few weeks. Ill definitely be checking for corrosion, but is there anything else I need to look for? Ill probably run a few in my 308 before I use them in a 300 PRC which is the eventual plan.

Yeah!
We were paying $4 a thousand before the plandemic.
Back in the late sixties it was cheaper.

Well not cheaper, just relative to the times due to inflation.
Using an online inflation calculator, in 1950 money $4 is $50 today. Not that pricey, really. In 1969 money, it’s only $32 today. Downright cheap. A few things happened to the dollar between 1950 and 1969, though.

$4.00 per K was expensive...?..............but, I guess at one time a Maxim muffler was $5.00.....................
Sure. But at the same time, two bits would buy you a blue plate special: some kind of meat and veggies with a starch and for another nickel, a pretty decent cuppa coffee. But what you had to do to earn that two bits and a dime (gotta leave a good nickel tip!) wowzers! People just don’t want to work that hard anymore.

If they look "normal", I am guessing they load and work fine.

If you remember those prices you must have been listening to FDR giving fireside talks.

I'm at a loss of brainpower........................but I could be missing something.......

How is $4.00 per K more expensive than $11.90 per K...............?

I'm not trying to be a jerk (but may be coming acrossed that way), but there are multiple posts that say the same thing...

Picked them up from my buddy today for the tidy sum of zero dollars.
A couple more pics! No "Keep out of reach of children" type warnings. They look fine, no corrosion or anything.
I think Im just gonna load 10 rounds of a middle of the road 308 and test them and see how they shoot.
