$4.00 for the 100o primers.
Light loads, try some out.
Expensive for that back in the day.
$4.00 per K was expensive..
Using an online inflation calculator, in 1950 money $4 is $50 today. Not that pricey, really. In 1969 money, it’s only $32 today. Downright cheap. A few things happened to the dollar between 1950 and 1969, though.Yeah!
We were paying $4 a thousand before the plandemic.
Back in the late sixties it was cheaper.
Well not cheaper, just relative to the times due to inflation.
Sure. But at the same time, two bits would buy you a blue plate special: some kind of meat and veggies with a starch and for another nickel, a pretty decent cuppa coffee. But what you had to do to earn that two bits and a dime (gotta leave a good nickel tip!) wowzers! People just don’t want to work that hard anymore.$4.00 per K was expensive...?..............but, I guess at one time a Maxim muffler was $5.00.....................
If they look "normal", I am guessing they load and work fine. Thanks for the info gents. Ill be picking them up sometime in the next few weeks. Ill definitely be checking for corrosion, but is there anything else I need to look for? Ill probably run a few in my 308 before I use them in a 300 PRC which is the eventual plan.

It’s a brick. $4/1000, not 100.My guess is pre 1970. That sounds expensive for that day and time. I just used some from the 70's that were $1.19/100. I would look closely at the condition of the box and if it looks normal I would expect them to work ok.
