I was at a show this Saturday and got to look and hold one. It actually feels great in my hand. Holding it side by side to a XDM 3.8 Compact it is about the same size or just a tad smaller. The trigger is similar to a glock, but the 9mm and .40S&W, that I was handling did not feel gritty and was really smooth. Also has ambidextrous controls. Cost was about $375 for the 9mm and .40S&W, the dealer did not have any .45acp models in. What I really like about it is that it is DA/SA and has a decoker and that you can carry it with any combination such as:

DA with Safety on
DA with Safety off
SA with Safety on
SA with Safety off

They are available with 2 magazines

9mm: 13 and 17 round extended magazine
.40S&W: 11 and 15 round extended magazine
.45acp: 10 and 12 round extended magazine

Let me know what you all think or any experience that you have with it. God Bless :)

These look good but but I have little experience with Taurus autos.
Heard too many bad reviews about them to own any except maybe their 92's (Beretta clones) or their 1911's. I know it's not really fair to judge something without owning it but just heard too many bad things about
reliability with Taurus...:banghead:

Have tried to like them and almost purchased a 1911 but in the end bought the Remington...

Had a chance to shoot a 9mm at the range, about 2 months ago. Brand new, out of the box. Shooting paper at 10 yards. Gun shot to the lower left corner for three of us! Oh ya, we were shooting owner's factory loads. Tried my reloads with same results. Gun was traded back to store for a used Smith auto. The store did offer to send it back to the factory-owner declined. Too bad as gun handled well. Nice "feel", good trigger, seemed to be well made, just wouldn't shoot.

Thanks for sharing that. Interesting as lower left shots are usually what happens when shooting DAO triggers for right handed people that are new to the trigger (I am guessing you 3 were all right handed :D) With practice on the trigger it can be corrected. Were you able to shoot it in SA mode ?? Thanks again for any info. God Bless :)

I have a standard 24/7 Pro CDS compact in 45 acp. I have been very pleased with mine and it runs great. I have been feeding it semi wad cutters and have yet to have a jam or failure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the G2 and the 24/7 has a very good reputation.

Go to Taurus Armed and read more there.

I have the 24/7 pro compact in 45acp and it goes bang every time I press the trigger. Shoots good groups, with ball practice loads and duty +P loads. I like mine and often carry it off duty and as a back up on duty.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I may have to pick one up in the near future. God Bless :)

Yes all three shooters were right handed, four if you count the owner. Would like to say tried shooting SA and great improvement noted. Did shoot it it SA and NO change in POI noted. Should have added a note that it wouldn't shoot for US. Next four, who knows.
