he must be like the norwegians of the old days.they changed their socks once a year. norwegians like to make jokes about them selves, swedes dont. a swede was traveling with some buffalo hunters on a hunt in the old days. they came upon some natives who got ahold of some wiskey and were dancing around a big fire and yelling like nuts. the swede said to the buffalo hunters. ya sure we have the same ting where i come from. the only ting is we call them norwegians.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. All of us suffer an occasional attack of Cranial Rectumitis. At my age, “getting lucky” means going into a different room in the house and remembering what I went there for. ;-)

And then discover you forgot the two most important items. Eye and ear protection.

Everything but the guns and Ammo is permanently housed in the van.

Teamwork. Can make or break a road trip.

I remember I had my buddy with me, one time when I was getting this clunker Plymouth inspected. It passed, and just as the officer was about to put the sticker
on the windshield, Louie pipes up with "It passed, even though the rear turn signal is out ?" AND red sticker, AGAIN. Next time, say it louder, Lou, there was a bum, passed out behind a dumpster, in Spokane, who didn't hear you.

I resent that last sentence. I live in Spokane and I wasn't passed out, merely resting.

I "lost" a 500 round brick of .22 LR during the height of the .22 shortage. I owed a friend it and I resisted buying another to replace it as the price was ridiculous at that point, and I looked and looked for it, without success. I finally bought a replacement, and like 5 minutes after I unboxed it after it arrived, I found the missing one, where I had looked a dozen times and somehow missed it. I gave him the fresher brick and kept the older one. I don't understand how I could miss it sitting in a box with a bunch of 50 round boxes of .22 LR, but I did.
