Anyone Load For 9x25 Dillon?

I've been testing 9x25 Dillon running 90 gr. Xtp's over Blue Dot(CCI 300),and 6" LoneWolf Barrel. I started @ 15 grs. which may be aggressive, but I've seen many others loading 15 grs with no issues. I do not have a chrony nor do i have a clue how to test/calculate pressure.
So I've been working up slowly looking for signs of over pressure, flattening of primer, case bulge ect ect. I'm now up to 17 grs of Blue Dot which is about like filling the case and stuffing the bullet in, and i have yet to see anything that concerns me with my fired brass. I don't think you could force enough Blue Dot in the case to get over pressure.
Has anyone else loaded this much Blue Dot for this round? I have no idea what the FPS would be on this, but i would imagine from what I've seen that it would be 2000-2100. Any info would be helpful.

I expect to be loading for the round late this fall if all works out in a G20. I shot it in the past and really liked it.

I use my Glock 20 and it's awesome. I was shooting steel plate rated for .44 Magnum, when i hit it with some hot 10mm loads it barely put a dent in the steel, then i hit it with some of my hot 9x25 loads and damn near blew a hole through it. Not to mention it's super loud with a huge fireball.

I've confined all of my 9x25 Dillon loads to 115 gr. bullets, since that is what Dillon developed their data with. I've got a load of AA-7 that gives me 1583 fps across my PACT Professional Chronograph from my 4.5" barrel.

I haven't loaded any Blue Dot in this caliber, since it can be unpredictable at times.

The 9x25 can be a fun round, but I don't shoot it enough to really work with it. So many calibers, so little time.......

When using a Lone Wolf barrel in a G20, would one be able to start with 10mm loads and work up? For instance, if the max load for 10mm with a 155gr tip is X grs, is it safe to start with X(or X-1) grs and a 124gr 9mm tip and work up since the tip is quite a bit lighter? I hope this makes at least a little sense.

9x23 Winchester data might be a closer starting point.

The original data developed by Dillon used "some" .400 Cor-Bon loading data as a starting point. It's much better to used tested data than to try to extrapolate from another caliber, unless you've got a ballistics lab at your disposal.

The 9x25 Dillon is a pretty high pressure round to start with, so my suggestion is to use proven data. The 9x23 Winchester case is made to withstand pressures in the range of 50,000 psi, but the 10mm case isn't. I also load and shoot the 9x23 Winchester and they're different animals.

9x25 Dillon exceeds the 9x23 Winchester in FPS and Energy. I'm not telling anyone to load this, but i loaded 17 grs. of Blue Dot under a 90 gr. Hornady XTP in new nickel brass, i'm getting 2100+ FPS and pushing 900 Ft. Lbs. of energy . I haven't seen any 9x23 loads come near this even though it may run higher pressures.

You can't use top-end .357 SIG data as starting loads?
15.5gr Blue Dot.....90gr XTP.....1846 fps (according to another forum for the 9x25)

Yes you can use .357 sig max load for a starting load for 9x25 as long as your using the same weight bullet. I started at 15 grs. of Blue Dot and worked up to 17 grs. and I'm convinced that you couldn't put enough Blue Dot in for 9x25 and cause over pressure using 90 gr. Hornady XTP's. Although I would still recommend working the load up yourself because as I've been told every gun and barrel is different. What works in mine may blow up in yours.

I've gotten some good results with longshot. I started just below the max .357 Sig loads, but used a CCI 350, and worked up, measuring casehead expansion with each increase. My velocities have been a touch lower than what others have seen on the Glocktalk 10mm reloading forum. I have yet to push it to top ends, however. I've confined all my bullets to 115gr XTPs.

I'm getting 1650 fps and have enough room that a little variation in the powder drop doesn't concern me much.
