I was wondering if you can use the Mr. bullet feeder on a Dillon 550b with good results. I was thinking of the Mini Mr bullet feeder for 223. I see on their website that say you can use it on the 550. Is this a worthwhile investment?

I mostly only use 3 stations for 223 so I don't think this will be a problem

If you get the hornady 223 bullet feeder you can get the seater and feeder in one station. You could also crimp as well if you believed in crimping/seating at the same time.

if you crimp even...

I dropped this thought(Mr bullet feed) as a bad idea on a Dillon 550.
I might try to buy a Dillon 650 when my piggybank is full.

I picked one up for my .223 1050 before the two had a falling out and the name changed to MBF.

I have never used a bullet feeder on my 550 though, I am generally loading smaller volumes than I would on my 650's/1050's and without case feed a 550 would still not get close to them.

A 650 would cost less than a 550 with a MBF and be faster.
