Picked one up the other day for my 243 AI and I've spent the last few hours playing with it.
I like it...a lot. Measures headspace, seating depth, bullet uniformity and case length.
First thing I did was measure my cases to see if I was sizing correctly....oh boy was I doing it wrong! (I'm amazed I shot as well as I did last week at that match). My body die was screwed down entirely too far. I was bumping shoulders (well, when I do it...maybe every 3-4th loading) .010" under minimum!
Next I measured some bullets for uniformity. Lapuas (90 Scenars) did exceptionally well. Lengths were all within .001".
The Bergers that I just bought (90grn paper punching stuff) were .001-.002" different in length. Not what I expected.
The Speer TNTs were .002-.003". I wish I still had some Sierra Matchkings sitting around but I believe I've shot them all.
