Well, I ordered 500 of the Suter's (158gr SWC). For $32, that's not bad. I also got some Berry's 125gr FP for $8/100 and some Magtech SJSP for $12/100.
I received mine earlier this week. I loaded up a few with 3.1, 3.5, and 4.1 gr of Trail Boss. I didn't measure the OAL, just seated the bullet to the crimp groove and roll crimped them. CCI Small Pistol primer was used and the test gun was a 2" Colt Cobra.
Overall, I was happy with the results. The 4.1gr was the worst, and the 3.5 was slightly better than the 3.1. Recoil on the last two were comparable. The 4.1 wasn't bad and was no worse than the WWB I used for comparison purposes.
I haven't had a chance to mic any of them yet to see how consistent they are. I did already find 2 bullets that did not have any lube on them.
I was also looking for some cheap bullets for reloading for .357 and noticed the Suter's at Graf's. They're pretty much the cheapest thing I have found anywhere.
Strat, your last post on this topic was back in June. Have you had a chance to test them out anymore since then? I'd love to hear your impressions! Also, how are Berry's? I bought some Rainiers at Midway but they haven't even arrived yet. Any experience with them?
Thanks in advance, and also for posting info on Suter's!
