I bought a desert eagle recently, and I compared it to my S&W .500. I threw the video up on youtube. Anyone wanna check it out?

Decent video, i think i would have picked the eagle without the gold but hey if you love it thats all that matters. Any plans to carry that monster? Just asking for curiosity sake. Next 50 youre planning to buy?

Ive shot both and found the DE to be alot more fun, though the grip frame is crazy wide. Still wanna try a .357 DE some day.......

I have shot the Desert Eagle but in .44 Magnum and .357 Magnum, not the 50AE. The .44 Magnum was tame in that large heavy frame but fun none the less.

I have not shot a .500 Magnum but did shoot a .460 Magnum. The .460 have much more recoil than the .44 Magnum Desert Eagle.

Thank for the video, the guns look like fun to shoot and some serious fire power too.

I don't think I'll be carrying that bad boy, it's going to be kind of a range toy. I always plan on buying a Barrett M82A1, but who knows lol. I just learned about .500 Limbaugh, so that's one on the list too. I'm telling ya, i'm addicted. The Barrett is the dream gun though for sure.

I really gave some thought to the .44 Magnum conversion kit, but I didn't think I'd use it enough to justify it. I have heard (but not researched) that the .460 S&W is a better round, and a more versatile gun but I love my .500 lol

Depends on your definition of better, .460 mag can produce higher muzzle energy but cant utilize as heavy of projectiles.
Im planning on a .50 myself, a bfr in 500 jrh. Just gotta get it stamped by the war department. War department is 9 months pregnant , hormonal and frugal. Worst case ill have to wait till january .
