Cool! Post some pics of your garands also.

I'll do that and throw in an 03A3 also. The Garand is a SA SG, and the 03A3 is a Remington SG.

I posted a new thread with before and after photos following the stock cleaning.

Although they are all supposed to be similar within the various grades there can actually be great variance in condition. In the 1980s I bought a Garand from what was called the DCM and you got no choice as to make or grade. Totally luck of the draw. My $132.50 got me what appeared to be an unfired IH dated 1954. Not a mark or wear spot on it. Looked like brand new. I foolishly sold it later when hit with some personal problems. Wish I had kept it.
