What would you choose if building an AR 10? 22" Krieger is the barrel. Krieger custom fits the BCG and break.

Muzzle brake, not muzzle break. The device slows and redirects, or arrests and brakes, high pressure expanding gases. It doesn't break anything.

You need to be aware any compensator or brake you put on there is going to make an already Earth-shattering KA-BOOM even louder.

That being said, my friend has a PWS. 216. The FSC30 they put on the muzzle from the factory will blow dust off the walls but is very effective. The rifle shoots very flat.

The BCG's that I have used with my DPMS patterns are. PSA, AIM, Brownells , Toolcraft . In both .308 and 6.5CM

If I was going to buy a matched bolt, I'd just go ahead and order the JP on Krieger's website.

You may as well buy and use what Krieger shows.

JP makes quality parts, I think they may be over-priced, ( IMHO ) but for the benefits gained with it would be worth it.

BTW, What caliber ?

As for the breaks I have used, ( again in both .308 and 6.5CM, all 30 cal holed ) I use the Lantac and the BCM ones.

Remember, typically the most effective ones can produce some pesky blast, especially the ones that even slightly direct the gas towards you.
That is why I prefer the Lantac, most of the blast is directed 90 degrees to the opposing sides.

I think the OP meant to say suppressor anyway

Mach1Vshooter and MT Militiaman, Hey guys! Sorry about the {SIC} I do that way too much. Your both right and my apologies. Thanks for not taking my head off. Sometimes that stuff bothers me. Mostly when my phone can't spell what I say. I know the difference. Especially since I machine them. BUT! I do it for fun and looks. I don't know if they work but they look really awesome for the folks who order them. Simple one that are time tested and proven are relatively simple to recreate and work very nicely. I bedded my Wife's .308 and built a BRAKE, which is probably a suppressor and it now groups 1moa and has stopped beating her shoulder up. I don't doubt I confuse these and do this again in the future. If I do I'll just say sorry now. I starting building AR 15's and had taken a few gun smith courses. My Wife bought me a mill and a lathe for retirement. This said, I know squat compared to so very many of you. Thanks for putting up with me. Great advice! BTW, so what is the defining difference between a brake and a suppressor? I see a lot of suppressors but I don't think that's what is mentioned here. Last, its amazing how many people want you to build them a suppressor once they know you have a mill and a lathe. Or they think you know everything because you built an AR15.
