AR 10 VS LEVER GUNS BOTH IN 358 WINCHESTER

My AR308 weighs about the same as my Winchester Safari Express 375 H&H. Right about 10lbs. I don't consider either to be heavy or uncomfortable to carry for long periods of time. But then I have taken a much keener interest in my personal fitness in the last few years. I don't shoot light weight rifles well and have always preferred something with a bit more heft. Both work well for me. But what works for me may not work for someone else.

I’ve never personally seen a Savage 99 in .358 Winchester for sale in the dozens of gun shops I’ve been in over the past 1.5 decades.

Luckily I have one in the vault that was gifted to me by an aging friend. He had it sitting by his kitchen door for years in Sitka Alaska. Shows some handling wear. Bet it has less than 30 rounds through it.

Don't overlook the 350 legend in a Ar15.

Lightweight, packs a punch. I like mine.

How about neither in either lol. my AR10 is a 308 while heavy it does have the advantage of a great optic and it's suppressed so no ear bleeding from a 16" 308 I also have a Browning 71 in 348 Winchester last time I went hog hunting I split time between the 2 ended up with the 308 in my hand when the shot was available.
