Just ordered a Kel-Tec Su-16CA. What's the most effective and proven flash hider on the market for ARs?

The Phantom Flash hider is suppose to be a really good one out there. I dont know from experience but from what i hear it is better then the good old birdcage. I dont really think you will see that big of a difference, but if you have the money to spend it looks really evil at 25 bux.

The Vortex and Phantom are real close. Both are better than a standard A2 flash higher, which isn't bad itself. Just about any muzzle device will reduce and/or redirect flash vs. a plain muzzle.

I'm very happy with my Phantom. I bought the one without the blocked bottom section and with the little prongs for poking someone with your muzzle to get their attention. Contrary to popular report, I've had no issues with kicking up dirt while shooting prone. When I installed it I aligned it so that the solid portions of the hider were at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions so that may be helping.

Of course, being in California, you'd never even think about breaking the law by installing the flash hider, right? Of course you wouldn't.
