AR-15 Magazine Pouches mounted horizontally

Anyone know of a magazine pouch that could be mounted horizontally on a plate carrier?
Isn't that a more natural draw than the vertically mounted ones? Anyone tried that?

1. No, I do not know of one, but I'm sure you could find one if you really wanted to.

2. It is definitely not more a natural draw for me.

I know they make them for belts but never seen one mounted on a chest. I could see how it mIght be more natural but it might be nearly impossible if you have to transition and do it weak side.

I put Mag-Pul mag loops on every mag I own.

Now, I can fish them out of a water well with one finger fast if I have too!

A bonus is, they protect the paint on my truck from mag scratches when I shoot over the rear finder or hood!!

Dont know of any that mount like that, but I have seen molle panels that mount on a molle vest allowing standard pouches to be mounted horizontally.

I have used large zip ties, threaded (vertically) down through the molle loops. then threaded a "specialty" molle pouch horizontally through the zip ties. The zip ties acting like molle loops for horizontal mounting.

Instead of the zip ties, I am sure those plastic molle straps would work. Can't remember who makes them.
