Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have a good and reputable source for preban 30-round USGI magazines and the Beta C-MAG drum for the AR-15?

If yes, could you please provide me with the contact information?

Any vendors I should avoid?

Thank you for the assistance.

Equipment Exchange on AR15.com: TONS of mags, they had a drum on there within the last day or two.

CDNN Investments has the 30 round USGI, Colts....................

Gun shows for mags

The one thing I have found at every gun show I've gone to is a lot of 30 round GI used and other aftermarket mags available. Prices range from $15 each for those that show signs of serious use to $50 for new Colt.

I've never had a problem with either kind jamming on me, as long as the lips of the mag are in good shape and there are no dents in the side walls. But then again I'm not a big fan of "pretty" stuff.

Of course once in a while you find them in strange places. I found a GI ammo pouch with 3 Colt 30 round magazines in it at a local antique store hanging on a back wall with an M-8 bayonet. The nice lady wanted $20 for both the bayonet and mags, but I talked her down to $15.

I've seen a couple of AR drums at the shows too, usually pretty expensive ($200 plus) and even the guy selling one I looked at said they were more of a novelty, even if you have a full auto NFA version. According to him they are hard to load and have a tendency to jam a lot unless you use graphite lube on them pretty regularly. Just his opinion.

Are there any other retailers other CDNN Investments that deal in these items?
