I have a detachable carry handle with a rear sight marked 6/3.

I followed the directions on AR15.com (link) on how to do a Revised Improved Battle Sight Zero using an 8/3 rear sight. So I followed the directions and moved the rear wheel -4 clicks. Everything looks good, I have my 100 yard zero available at -3 clicks with -1 click of 'buffer' room. However....

In reading further, I realize that I should have been doubling the clicks when setting the RIBZO and I should have done -8 clicks. So I adjust the rear sight and -4 more clicks to set it correctly.

Now I am finding that my rear sight is bottomed out and can only add clicks not subtract them.

I do realize that the rear sight needs to be adjusted AND THEN the front sight needs to be adjusted to the RIBZO setting? Is this correct? Should I add 4 clicks to revert to how I originally had it after the 8/3 attempt, where I had an extra click of buffer room, then adjust the front sight? I am scratching my head because with everything doubled I have no room to go down clicks now.

Now after fiddling with this I am wondering what should the standard factory setting for a 6/8 rear sight should be set at to start.
