If anyone has shot the 6.8 AR with V-MAX ammo I would like to know how you feel about the performance. I have not shot mine at a windshield yet and I'm curious about penetration through glass. I also would like to know about different loads and how they performed for this weapon.

Shoots very well out of my DPMS. Functioned flawlessly. Havent shot glass though. The only other round I have tried are FMJ's. No problems with those rounds either.

Ammo loaded with V-Max bullets is just that. A V-Max is a Hornady varmint bullet. A varmint bullet will blow up hitting glass. Especially tempered windshield glass. The bullet may or may not penetrate. Mind you, even if the driver is dead or severely wounded, the vehicle will not be stopped. No rifle bullet, even a .50 BMG, will stop a vehicle. Physics won't allow it.
"...would like to know about different loads..." You must work up the load, assuming you're reloading, for your rifle. If you're not reloading, you have to try a box of as many brands and bullet weights as you can to find the ammo your rifle shoots best.
