I changed the .072 front sight of my match service rifle to a .052 width sight.

The old front sight was at 2.90 mm from the top of the ears.
The new sight will give me either 2.80 mm or 2.98 mm to be closest to the height of the old sight.
I chose 2.98 mm for the height, but I don't know how much MOA to adjust my rear sight to compensate for the .98 mm difference.

If the front sight is adjustable in 3 MOA per click, should I assume my new zero should be moved around 1.5 minutes down for the rear sight?

Thanks for anyones input here. It's confusing me.

Just about everything is going metric anymore.

Reset your elevation wheel one hole lower on your zero.

Not in my house or shop it isn't.

I'd have to buy new mic's and calipers, and a new lathe with metric dials.
Then convert everything back to thousands to make parts that fit American guns.
