Don't use anything on the upper receiver threads but a bit of anti-seize compound. Dissimilar materials sometimes like to bond...and using thread-locker on something that gets that hot is just wasting money.

I've never encountered a problem with a barrel nut loosening if it was properly torqued to spec...and that's a pretty broad range.

Ordered PSA pencil stainless M-LOK 13.5" railed upper, magpul CTR lower build kit, and bolt. Think it'll be a good choice. I have a couple charging handles laying around.

OK. In just over two weeks we want to see pictures of the complete rifle.
Don't for get to get some spare parts on hand. Which parts? Enough to build a complete rifle.
