AR help please?

How can you remove the magazine release button to increase the spring tension on it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Push the mag release in from the ejection port side, and when the bar clears teh magwell on the opposite side, screw it in another turn or 2. You might need a pencil or something to push it in far enough.

take a punch and push it out through from the other side. Unscrew as soon as it clears the reciever and voila...

Press the mag release button in as far as you can (it will move through its hole in the receiver). The little tooth'd bar that engages the mag will poke out the left side of the receiver. Rotate it counterclockwise to unscrew it from the mag release button. Once it's unscrewed, the button can come out the right side and the spring and other thing can come out the left. You can replace or fiddle with the spring to make it push a little harder.
