Thank God it finally did. THe shortage of 5.56 ammo also played a big part . Every one wants to sell their overpaid ARs last Dec. Even bulk surplus ammo is non existent.

I wonder if the quality was kept up while they were making them as fast as they could? I would be a little leary, but that's just me. I wonder about the quality of the ammo too.

I bought a stripped lower for 82 bucks the other day, and another one today for $72.01. Plus shipping and FFL of course, but.....Woohoo. Birthday presents for my two sons, just in time. :)

BCG's are now as low as $127. I might have to pick up a couple for future builds.

Now if only AK's and SKS would go down below $400 again...

Now I just wish the price of their ammo would get back to normal so I could afford to feed them.

of course the price of ARs is going down. cant get enough ammo to justify buying one. think how much cars would come down if you could only get a gallon of gas a day

where are you guys finding cheap stripped lowers?

I'm not seeing the lower prices. Looks like complete uppers are still in the $600 and up range. The BCG I see on the auctions are going for $160 and up. In 2010, I pieced together complete rifles for $425 including all the shipping.

But, if you don't mind some cosmetic blemishes (the ones I've seen posted looked fine), aero precision blem lowers are $85 and in stock

If the Aero Precision blem lowers are as good as the PSA blem lowers (some of which are/were made by Aero), jump all over them.

I have one PSA blem where the only blemish is the 1st two letters of the serial number are slightly (1mm) out of line. On my other PSA blem lower, the only blemish is a white spot in the anodization inside the mag well (not visible).

yeah, i guess i've bought at least 4 RRA blems and 4 BCM blem receivers. they work fine for me. if they're not scratched up when i get them, they will be pretty soon after

I know ammo is still much easier to find - at least FMJ.

Still having trouble finding specialty rounds like TAP

But less AR shooters at the public and indoor ranges bec of ammo shortage.

I've wondered about this too. There have been some questionable BCGs out there for a while. You have a good point about ammo too, of course I rarely find my calibers anyway! :D
