AR Upper Complete

Got this in my email today from MidwayUSA.

Midway stoner upper

Is it a quality upper, or just a cheap one ?? Anyone have one, or know about them?

The Midway's AR Stoner stuff is generally very good value for the price. There are a lot more "name brands" for AR stuff that their are actual OEM manufacturers.

It's a decent upper from what I've read. I browse Gunbroker.com when I'm watching TV...mostly for the heck of it and not looking for anything in particular. I can say for a fact that there are no complete AR uppers for that price, regardless of brand/make/model/quality.

Not for that price. Cheaper.

I'm no AR expert, and am not sure how these two compare. The most obvious difference is the PSA's faster twist rate. Neither is chrome lined. All my AR's have been.

PSA website shows that upper as out-of-stock.

I am.under the impression that PTAC uppers are of questionable quality due to the parts they use in building them.

MidwayUSA stuff in usually overpriced but this does seem like a good deal.

The PSA upper was in stock at the time of my post and $10 less than the Midway AR Stoner upper.
