I don't think so, but I'm not 100% (sorry). I have heard that ar-10 uppers/ lowers are manufacturer specific and that AR-10 parts don't comply with a set of standard specifications (as do most AR-15 parts).
Best bet would probably be to call Armalite or DPMS to be on the safe side.
According to Randall Rausch of ar15barrels.com the barrels themselves are compatable but the gas systems and handguards are not the same. As I understand it you would need the matching gas tube and an aftermarket handguard.
The Armalite gas tube is a skosh longer, but you can evidently use a shorter (standard) gas tube without issues. I have an adjustable rifle-length gas tube on my AR10, and it's worked well with nary a bobble for probably 1000 rounds or more.
Anyway, I just ordered a DPMS 24" fluted barrel for my Armalite AR10 - we'll see how it works when it gets here. <crossing my fingers>
Here ya go - a DPMS 24" fluted stainless steel bull barrel on an Armalite AR10 upper, with the Armalite gas tube and JP barrel nut/float forearm.
The balance point is just forward of the barrel nut, but just barely, with an empty mag. Filling the mag results in a rifle that balances on the mag. The new barrel adds about a half pound more weight; the rifle now weighs about 11lbs as it sits with an empty mag.
The DPMS barrel came with the bull barrel gas manifold, and is nicely dimpled for the set screws. All in all, it seems to be a nice piece of work for around $350 delivered.
