Ok, so having just seen a pic of an AR15 pistol, I am wanting to research them more and I am thinking that I want one.
Can someone, anyone educate me on these? Who are the manufactures, what to look for. I don't want to got the pistol caliber route, want to keep it with .223.
Thanks

I have 2, both Rock River. 1 is a 7" bbl, the other a 10" and both work flawlessly. I have heard of cycling problems with other brands and with home builds, but almost all seem to be related to buffer tube issues. Rock River uses standard CAR tubes and springs.
My AR pistols are both the least practical and most enjoyable handguns that I have.

i would also like to kno more mainly on the accuracy side.... how accurate are these things out to 100 yards? my cousin has one that is scoped but i never heard anything about accuracy and group sizes

Survivor expert, Ron Wood apparently recommends them.

I read the article that he chose it, presumably for "Urban Survival," but missed the one that brought him to that choice.

I've tried and can't see the reasoning.

Anyone have insight?

I don't have any targets handy of my AR pistol but this is typical of my Kel Tec PLR pistols. As I recall my AR is not as accurate.

I have a 1 1/8 inch group but I can't find the picture.

The .223 pistols do pretty well also when just standing and dumping a magazine at 100 yards (the Red pasters are a ultra light load I was working on).

I found this 100 yard target shot with the Bushmaster Carbon 15 .223 pistol.

Looks like a scatter gun but the sight was a BSA Red Dot, not a scope. The Red Dot almost covers the bullseye at 100 yards.
