AR15 Upper Receiver Search in a Buyer's Market.

I have only a little experience with building & modifying AR's & now I find myself wanting to build another upper. In the past, I've shopped for bargains & bought PSA & Anderson upper & lower receivers, parts kits, etc.

Now that we are in such a "AR Buyer's Market" if I want to get a higher quality stripped upper receiver what should I be looking for in terms of material, features & price.

...don't know. I guess that is part of the question.

I don't think there's much difference in overall quality until you get to higher end guns, but then the price point never moved a whole lot downward on those.

And the "lower" end guns are almost always still a good value and quality.

I've been on the search for a high end AR, but not seeing anything that looks like a deal in the world of Noveske, Daniel Defense, Wilson Combat, etc.
