Are all Blackhawks this rough?

I have a 70's Single 6 and a 90's 45Lc BH and both have a nice finish, at least the BH still does, the 6 has been used and abused, but still shoots to POA and with a wide variety of cheap ammo.

Don't let it stop you from buying a Blackhawk in the future. Mine was perfect. I love it. It won't be my last one, I promise you. Anyone can let something sub-par slip through the cracks. Trust me, it's the exception, not the rule.

Gotta old Blackhawk in .41 and its flawless. Got Colt agent in .38 and its ugly but I love it. Got a SP101 and it is the finest Satin Stainless finish you can find. Ruger does a goood job on all their 400 to 600 dollar guns. "spend more you may get more" I'm not ashamed of my Rugers.

I looked at a new Blackhawk today at my local dealers. Looked very nice. I'm thinking seriously about going back tomorrow to buy it. It is the SA 5 1/2 " bbl .45/.45acp. with the 2 cylinders for $375. Of course I will fire it first, but it seems like a good price. Will be checking in THR in the morning first, so I'd definately appreciate any feedback from BH owners concerning price. From the ones I've looked at it seems that the OP's experiance may be the exception. I hope so anyway. I've never had a BH and I'm kinda looking forward to it.
