Argentine FM hi power front sight

I ended up with a FM hi power clone which has "lost" the front sight due to unknown causes. Its the standard staked-in type. Any suggestions on what to do for replacement? Was thinking about sending it off for Novak style cuts front and rear. Want to get this fixed (since its useless now) but don't want to break the bank.

I put Novak 3-dots on my FM. Much nicer sight picture then the little GI-type sights that came on it. The non-night sight Novaks aren't too pricey, but obviously the slide will have to be cut for them to be installed.
