arisaka type 99

hey everybody,
I am new to the forum but have been around lurking for quite a while. I have recently came across an Arisaka type 99, don't know alot about it yet. It's missing a couple pieces and I have been looking for somewhere to buy parts for it but with no success. I have 2 barrels, the stock, firing mechanism but what I mainly need is the upper hand guard. does anyone have any ideas on where I could locate one? This gun is just going to kind of be a hobby gun to try and somewhat restore just for the enjoyment of it since I know its not a very valuable gun and my heart won't be broken if it doesn't work out. thanks in advance for any help you all can give, it is greatly appreciated.

Might join up at milsurps.com and surplusrifle.com, good info there on old milsurp rifles. I have a 99 that I paid way too much for, it's been sporterized and I think the barrel's worn plumb out. Only fired it a few times, and it kicks like a heathen.
