There's a pretty decent deal on an Armalite stripped AR-15 lower at my local shop. I'm planning on grabbing a Sabre Defence upper from pk when they're back in stock, and I was just wondering (just to be on the safe side) if there would be any foreseen problems with compatibility between these two parts. I really wouldn't see why there would be...just thought I'd be safe, because I was originally just going to grab a Sabre lower and be done with it. Thoughts?

ANDROTAZ,

You should be ok, I do know some hindge pin holes are different size but there is an adapter pin that line them up. I put a Rock River upper on my Armlite lower and it was fine. Just got a SWA 20" heavy barreled upper w/1-7"
so I can shoot the 75 gr. again and it also fits fine.

What twist is the barrel?

Most AR uppers and lower interchange just fine. The only ones I know of with funky holes were Colt-brand ones made for the civilian market. (I'm not an expert on those, so experts chime in.)

You should have no problem putting any standard upper on an Armalite lower, which has standard dimensions.
