Sharkman,
Are you thinking of issuing tasers to the pilots before a PC at TK? Never needed them on non-glass guys but I would have loved them as a training tool to use on glass PIs. Sorry none-OP.

The locking holster is a bad design; it's a testament to the FFDO's that this is the only incident anyone has heard of. The pilots only carry them because the lock box was even worse to carry. My wife's lock box is still in the gun safe; she is away on a trip with the locking holster. My wife has been carrying since about 6 months after TSA authorized cargo pilots to go to the school.

I'm a part-time corp. pilot and I corresponded with people who've flown with this guy when it first happened - he's a senior US Air Captain. Suffice it to say, the union spin does not change the fact that HE was an accident waiting for a place to happen, according to what I heard. If you knew the whole story I'll bet most of you would say he deserves to be standing in the unemployment line. He shed a very bad light on the responsible armed pilots who follow all the rules and are an asset to the security of an aircraft.
