Is the Armscor 206 a worthwhile piece of steel?

How do the Rossi 357/38's compare? I really want wood grips though...

Is a S&W 36/60/64 really worth double the bones of some other guns?

What about a charter arms? They dont have one in a configuration I like though...

Armscor can be acceptable, Rossi is O.K., Yes, those S&W's are worth double the money. Esspecially when you can get used S&W model 10's on a couple different web sites for around $270. Why have any doubt when you can have the best for the same price!

The Model 10 is the .38 Military & Police in blued steel. The Model 64 is the .38 Military & Police in stainless steel.

I've read that the Armscor revolvers approach S&W quality though...

I've got an Armscor M202 and so far it has been a great gun...I'll admit that the round count is under a thousand rounds though. To be honest I was expecting far less than I've gotten from a gun that costed so little.

Be warned that the finish on any of the current production models looks like crap, I believe the model I have has been discontinued so make sure you google image search and see what you should expect from one.

In my opinion they're a great gun especially if you're just looking for one to shoot infrequently to stay efficient and carry/stash in a sock drawer.

Meh, those sub $300 are beat to the point I don't want to use them and they're all 4". I Want a revolver that looks like in the photos below. It's not a high polish look that's hard to pull off or anything. It just needs to be at least 38 special, and be functional. Snub nose, wood grips. That's all I'm asking for. And I'm not willing to pay $700 to get it.

I carry an Armscorp M206 on my hip everyday for self defense. It shoots every time and is accurate to boot. I'm also fond of Rossis. I have had both the M68 (blued) in .38 and a M99 in 32 S&W (it was a SS). They both shot well and every time I pulled the trigger. My oldest daughter still has the M99.
