Well, i just bought an armscor m206 with the 2inch barrel. and i love this thing. its only had 50 rounds so far. All of which hit the target from 25 feet (its the first snub nose ive ever shot).Just thought i would let you all no, if you are considering one, i think it was well worth 250$

they are real wood, and it handles great. i have not shot a colt or s&w snub. but i dont see how this could be improved upon.

Im not a 100%, but i would say steel, it has some heft to it.
