Arrived in AK

Just arrived at Eielson AFB yesterday. Currently looking for a place to stay. I had heard that the BX sold guns so of course I had to go check it out. Bad idea, my wallet is going to hate me. There's a nice Sig 220 and S&W 1911 GunSite model calling my name now. Also found out I'm scheduled to head to Iraq around the Jan/Feb time frame.

Almost forgot, I picked up my HiPower from Alex Hamilton of Ten Ring Precision right before I left TX. Excellent work, I'll post pics of it as soon as my household goods arrive.

Just curious. One of my Drill Sergeants was in the 1st of the 501st LAA.
He was one of the baddest mothereffers I've ever met in my life.

He could shoulder and fire a M60 machine-gun like it was a .22lr plinker.
