No, they're still very much in business. Arsenal has offered many, many different configurations over the past few years. They seem to "burn through" these styles rather quickly, then move on to something new. Right now the milled receiver rifles are either on hold or being produced in limited quantities. Looks like the 106-family of rifles is discontinued, but the 107s are being ramped up. The best thing to do is to call them and see what they're making right now.

HTH,

107s and 108s! *rubs paws together greedily*

Stamped (read: lighter weight) 7.62x39 Bulgarian goodness! Though, if you hurry, you can probably still get a 106 in .223 - they're limited to stock on hand, tho.

The guys at K-Var are in pretty good kahoots with the guys from Arsenal USA.
They say they build according to what they can get in raw material from Bulgaria and there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to what they might ship next.

If you get into Las Vegas thse two dealers generally have several in stock--Citadel on Dean Martin Drive and Machinegun Kelley's on Sunset. Looked at one of the stamped reciever models a few days ago. Price was 680 about the same as the machined recievers were several years ago. Vectors are about as nice and a couple of hundred bucks less.

Arsenal USA is a completely different company than Arsenal Inc. I think some of the people on this thread have the two confused. Arsenal Inc sells the SLR series of rifles.

They need to make another 5.45x39mm AK-74 rifle. Standardized parts and cheap mags draw me closer and closer to them. :D

They also tend to be cheaper than 5.56mm AK rifles in general. And around here at the MI gun shows, 5.45mm is pretty easy to come by.

yup!:D I have a Century SAR-2 AK74, and I'm thinking of upgrading to a higher quality AK74 with side folding stock. But they're getting hard to find!:fire: :banghead:

Arsenal Inc did not change their name. Are you thinking of Arsenal USA? Looks like they changed their name.
