I have finally acquired the three pistols that I wanted. And this is after two divorces that forced me to sell everything I ever had before. (but, I am not a whiner, and I am sure that many of you understand). The 1911 is a commercial 1914 Colt. in 98%. The 1903 .32 is 95%+ (from 1924), and the .25 acp is 1928, at about 80%. I am going to work on upgrading. And, I am also upgrading the women in my life. I was married to a 40% for 33 years. There was no blue to the relationship, and some issues with being left uncleaned after firing. I then finally got out. Then I was married for 14 months to a 95% (or so I thought), till she showed me that she was a 10%, with enormous pitting in her bore. I thought she was the perfect carry piece! But, sometimes we men can be so stupid.
So, I am moving on in my life with my pistols, and the women I meet. I recently was offered a Police Positive .38 in 100%, but hesitated at the price. Also, I was offered a night out by a gal with a huge up top caliber, but was a bit gun-shy... she wanted to inspect my pistol. I am packing an upgraded .45, but still feel insecure about pulling it out for just anyone. I need to relax! I need to place my shots better. Still, I have my pistols. Lee

That was undoubtably the best post i've ever seen on here by far LOL i still can't stop laughing. nice illustration of words LMAO

Welcome to THR btw

I underdo...

I am packing a 50 caliber, but claim that it is "small, but friendly as hell!". That suits me well...

Don't forget the gun socks to keep your piece(s) safe while you're shopping around...

a bit more...

I am one sorry baster... well, you know. I thought I was taking the tuna boat to fishtown, but ended up on the reef with just my dinghy. She wanted it "doggy style"... where I would sit up and beg, while she rolled over and played dead. It didn't work at all. I guess what I need is a virgin, for I cannot take criticism... Lee

Interesting <ahem> post. Welcome to THR, Radarcarve.

Before this turns into a locked topic, let me redirect a bit. Can you tell us what makes this trio of pistols your "Holy Grail," so to speak? They all sound great, but why these three? Did you have similar handguns before? Give us the story!

Yes

Well, yes... I have these pistols in my mind and in my heart. My father was flying over the coral sea when an engine went out on the Dakota he was in... everything overboard! He was the paymaster for the service squadron he was in... so he was issued a .45, in a box, and carried it when he paid the troops. Over the Coral sea, they tossed out his duffel bag, with his pistol in the box. He told me that it was a "switch and signal" pistol... made him think it was a 'railroad' affiliated gun, for his family were railroad men. Well, that gn is on the bottom of the coral sea. But I am here reflecting on ex wives... what the hell... we all neet to go on. Lee
