Several months ago I sent my Delta Elite off to Ted Yost for some work. I have been trying to decide on a set of grips to complement the Hard Chrome finish it will come back with.

I have looked at so many grips lately I wondered if I would ever find a set that I liked.

I finally decided on a set of smooth buffalo horn grips from Eagle Grips. The service was great, I asked for grips with no white in them, and a high polish. That is what I got. From initial phone call to delivery was professional, and quick.

Colt was also very helpful. When I started looking for Delta grip emblems, I called their customer service, explained what I was doing and the gentleman took my email and said he would be in touch. I figured that was the end of that. The next day I had an email requesting my address so he could mail me a new set of emblems.

So I just wanted to post a BZ (job well done) to Eagle grips and Colt customer service.

I am sure Raj would install these emblems for you if you asked him. He is set up to do it and is a very nice man. I spoke to him about a set of PATRIOT Ultra Ivory gips of mine that had lost a corner off of one side at the Shootist's Holiday last June in Raton. He said to send them back even though the breakage was clearly my fault. I sent them in a few weeks ago and last week I recieved a new pair in the mail in a beautiful blue velvet bag. He has always supported my give away work for various charities and donated grips for the Roy Rogers Silver Screen Legend guns, the Gun of the month for Guns magazine, and the Johnny Mack Brown gun for SHOOT! Magazine. I fine Company run by a Fine Man!
