Please explain your answer. If you answered "no I do not believe that the BATF shoudl exist" please give a reason, and who you think should enforce 18 USC Ch.44 Sec 922,929,931 which are (respectively) unlawful acts pertaining to firearms, restricted ammunition, possession of body armor by violent felons.

I'm just curious as to how people feel about the agency.

You need to consolidate this with your original poll/thread

unlawful acts pertaining to firearms
Like what? Murder? Already illegal. Armed robbery? Already illegal. The normal police already enforce that stuff.

restricted ammunition
Like what armor piercing? Who cares, that should be my right to own anyways....in fact it is my right but our Kings deemed it a threat to their power.

possession of body armor by violent felons
Why are they even on the street if they are violent? Fix the problem at the source, not each side effect of problem.

The BATFE (I ABSOLUTELY refuse to call it the "ATF") has a long and loathesome history of conducting itself as an inept criminal gang.

From the Kenyon Ballew shooting to Waco to the Good Old Boy's Roundup, the BATFE has demonstrated a disgusting combination of racism, misogyny, corruption, animal cruelty and blithering incompetence. They're the Federal equivalent of the Chicago Police Deparment.

Most Federal gun laws shouldn't exist, and therefore there's no need to enforce them, much less having disreputable hoodlums to do that superfluous task.

Drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and all that kind of stuff should be legal for the consumer. It is my choice whether I choose to use them or not.

I think it is wrong to violate my right to happiness.

And the BATFE also regulates firearms and enforces laws which infringe my rights therefore it is unconstitutional.
