Housebill 1482 has it's last chance to be revived and we must act now. The smokeless powder bill will bring Va fire code in line with federal law. Va fire code classifies smokeless powder as an explosive and is seeking to regulate merchants to a 20lb smokeless powder, 10,000 primers, and 1lb of black powder storage in their buildings. 100lb storage of smokeless powder may be stored 100ft away from the building. Many vendors reconizing that this is not enough inventory are considering dropping the items for sale.
We have until March 8th (tomorrow) at 900am to contact state senators to get them to revive the bill. Email or call them before it's too late.
