Heard on news tonite, 7-1-2011 the hunting and fishing licenses will go up 5.00. Out of state will go up 50.00.

Like I said on my other VA Hunting thread - they couldn't figure a way to sell a special license to hunt on Sunday so this is what we get instead. At least I don't have to buy ANY licenses to hunt my own property.

Is that $5 per tag? That could add up quickly, $5 for general license, $5 big game, $5 mz loader, $5 bow, $5 fishing on top of the 18 bucks they already cost equals $120 plus the $2 processing fee. And don't forget the national forest stamp. Bastards!

Well that pretty much ends my going to Woodstock for deer. Being from Maryland, it was expensive enough for me but add the extra $50, and I'm done. Oh well.

What was it before? $18? It was $14 a few years ago and $12 just before that.

Time to start voting people out of office. If you successfully vote a person on the committee that killed the Sunday hunting bill out, I would send a letter immediately to their successor telling them why you voted their predecessor out.

I'm from Nebraska and I think a lot of states are doing this our licenses cost $85 this year. Which is about a $25 jump in price.
