Auction Idiocy ...

Basically, if you want someone to blame for low ball offers, it's all the people who take them - not the people who gave them. Grow up.

It's the American way to buy low and sell high. We all know that. But when people repeatedly pester you with a low ball offer I think that's what people are complaining about here. Just like the person who wanted way too much for his revolver in my previous post. More power to him if he gets that price. It will just make the value of my 629-2 go up. Still it's pretty insulting to ask such a high amount. Sure some can afford it and some are looking to complete collections and there are lots of other reasons a buyer might pay a ridiculous price. But what I see is people who post the same gun over and over waiting for years sometimes to get their sucker. It wouldn't bother me at all except I know that one of the categories of people who might pay too much are people who don't know any better. And taking advantage of people like that might be common but I still don't like it one bit.
