In short, No. I am trying to establish whether or not it is even a concern. There is no such warning on the ammo. The performance is marginally better.
Specifically, .45 acp.
OK. I checked GLockTalk and the GLock seems to be OK with +P. I realize that the 1911 may be a more "loaded" issue. P14-45.
BTW, a search on this forum has 2,901 responses in autochucker forum Seems like +P always ends up in some thread somewhere.
The higher the pressure the more wear and tear on the gun. Personally I don't think it's worth it.There's no magic in the hot loads, go for brtter shot placement.
