I'm really glad that nothing more came of this besides a somewhat, forgiving, peck on her nose, considering the credentials on the front of her instructors T-shirt.. Pure class..

No, she actually did pretty good considering what she was shooting.
It appears she just was given no instruction or prior warning about the level of recoil she had to contend with.
Mr. Fuxx-Shirt is just an Azzhole for letting her get hurt!
And an even bigger one for posting the video for the whole anti-gun world to see!

Agreed, she held on to the gun, kept it pointing downrange, and if you look closely at the slow-mo at the end, took her finger off the trigger.
All in all, not too bad.

I saw something like this at the range a while back. Guy was shooting a .44 DE, girl was shooting a G19 or 23.
(paraphrased)
"I wanna shoot that one."
"No, its got too much recoil, you wouldnt like it."
"So? I still wanna shoot it."
"Honey, I told you, it kicks too hard."
"You mean too hard for a woman?"
"Fine, I'm in the doghouse either way, you get one round to start."
Thankfully, it didnt hit her in the forehead, and thankfully, there wasn't anyone behind her. Hopefully they left in seperate cars.

What in that video makes you think that she's a new shooter? From what I saw, she had proper grip, gun handling, and safety techniques. She simply couldn't handle the recoil. That hardly makes one a "new shooter".
Some people just can't handle recoil. As noted earlier, even after the shot she kept the pistol pointed downrange, and took her finger off of the trigger. I think there's a lot of people here posting comments about the people involved without knowing the facts..

I don't know, but in stop motion, her shooting hand and "wrist" buckle, then her elbow goes, while leaving her support grip/hand, and arm, "in tack, all, pointing forward", but not holding any part of the gun during the recoil..
But yep, good job getting her trigger finger out and off and gun pointing downrange..

Nice outfit for shooting. Long time ago I wondered why everyone else was wearing sleeves and baseball caps. I wonder no more. On the other hand, nothing like seeing a lady doing the "brass dance." Yeesh.
