Here is a picture of my new automatic case sizer. It's my 13 year old daughter, Marissa, helping me out by running a batch of freshly cleaned, .45ACP through the sizer die. She was bored, so I said I could find her something to do; I didn't think she would do it for as long as she did, she did a great job.

I once told my wife I needed to spend a few hundred bucks upgrading to a press with a case feed.

She spent months sitting across from my Square Deal feeding cases in while I handled bullets and pulled the lever. And no, I never accidentally decapped her finger...:p

Enjoy her help while you can. Hopefully she will develop a lifelong interest. My youngest daughter helped me quite a lot reloading when she was around 8-11 yrs old. Then her time with friends became more important.

Anyway, nice going Dad to involve your kids. You just never know how it will influence them later in life, but this type of involvement is certainly positive and confidence building. You are running your own little factory and science lab after all.

Great post! Both of my boys love shooting, but so far haven't taken much interest in reloading. My 7YO daughter, however, loves to help daddy put the cases in the press and then set the bullets atop the cases for me to seat. She also loves to flip the charge lever on the shotshell loader. I'm on my way to an automatic system myself!

awwwwww,,,I have to do it Manually. LOL...

I don't have an Automatic one.

Maybe I can Rent one. LOL...

Automatic Case Sizers: Rent or Own

"Own" is when your kid helps.

"Rent" is when your grand-kid helps.

If my daughter expects to eat dinner, she has to first do the brass work for me! Doning pistol brass one at a time is no fun.:neener:
