Ayoob Flashlight - Out and About

If anyone has watched Personal Defense TV's "Out and About" video, Massad Ayoob has a special type of flashlight/flashlight grip/flashlight handle ... or something of that nature, during the "Hotel Safety" scene.

From what it looked like to me, the "grip" would allow someone to use two hands to hold their pistol, while using a flashlight.

I could be wrong about this, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows what this thing is, and where I might find some information about it.

I haven't seen the Ayoob video you're talking about, but this is probably the flashlight.

Yes, Mas used the First Light flashlight.

You can get a good two-handed grip on a handgun while using the light. You have momentary as well as constant-on light, and the newest model has a strobe feature.

Mas also carries one or two Surefire-type lights all the time.

Is that supposed to be better than mounting a light directly on the gun?

Getting it out and putting it on seems like it would use up some precious time in the event of an emergency.

I've seen ads for First Light but never investigated. Very cool. I may have to pick one of these up!
