Here's another sequel to Hippies at the Range and Med Students at the Range, Today it was B-school Students at the Range.

As before, went through the four rules, explained a bit about nomenclature and functionality and then let them shoot. For targets we brought a steel swinging rack for the 22's, paper, grapefruit, oranges, clays, and 1 gallon water bottles.

As before I started them with the H&R M12... now it's got a 6-24x variable scope... quite popular:

After that, they shot a 10/22 with a red dot sight.

After the 22 rifles, they went to the AR-15, then pistols, a ruger mk II and XD40. After those they tried the FAL and remington 870.

Sarah Connor enjoyed the AR-15.

you want that Porter's 5 forces analysis?!

COME GET SOME!!!!!

(b-school joke for those who get it)

Hah... Porters...that stuff will get you laughed out of any consulting interview, but strangely, on the job it gets used all the time.

Most of the people in this shot are into finance. In Ten years remember these photos when the next LTCM crashes and burns :)

This is good.

In fact, everyone who can should organize a
"Poli-sci" and a "Pre-law" Student at the Range Day.

These future legislators may just have an
idea of what they are legislating when it
comes to firearms.

Is that a BSA Platinum on that H&R? Not only did I get an H&R 12 for my dad 2 christmas's ago, I have a BSA Platinum 6-24 topping my .22 target rifle. I think it's a good choice for a .22.

close... it's a bushnell elite 4200 6-24 with the AO and target turrets. My friend has a BSA platinum on his mossberg m44... great combo.

Nice!

My finals are this week so I'm jealous that you found time to go the range already this year.

Since the snow started thawing in April I've probably gone on average one or twice a week. Four times I've taken novices... Good times.

I do my schoolwork on weekdays. Weekends I pretty much spend a the range. (okay sometimes after classes on thursday I'll go too).

I knew I should have done a full time program...

Ned Flangers - I was thinking the same thing..... I just wasn't going to say it.

Grafton County F&G?

Range looks familiar.

Last time we were out there, I shot up a beer keg with a tommy gun on full auto.

Pic gets published in the independent campus newspooper every now and then.
