B-Square no-drill scope mount: pics requested

Hi,

This is a request for photos (or measurements) of the B-Square no-drill "saddle" shotgun scope mount, particularly for a Rem 87u.

What I am trying to figure out is how high would this mount put my red-dot, if I were to use it? Is it tight to the receiver, or is there a lot of daylight under the mount?

Ditto, I'd like to see this as well. I'm considering whether to buy a slug barrel with rifle sights and just get the B-Square/scope combo. That way, I'd have rifle sights, scope, or Eotech as options. Or should I just get a dedicated cantilever slug barrel for scope/dot only.

I've got one that I tried on a Winchester 1300. There is a LOT of daylight under the rail in this configuration. It's enough that with a scope mounted, I can still see the front bead clearly enough that I could use it at close range. Similar in effect (but not design) to the "see-through" scope rings often used on lever-guns.

For my tastes, it just plain mounted the scope (I was experimenting with long slug shots) too high for a decent cheek-weld. Also, on the 1300 there is an additional stabilizer that runs under the receiver. If that was even remotely over-tightened, it locked up the action.

That said, I've got a friend who uses one on an 870 and likes it. Go figure.

I put one on my BPS and it fits pretty tight. You sure can't see the bead under it.

I just measured the mount on my 1300. Below the rail, there is a roughly 7.5mm gap to the top of the receiver.
