Baby Desert Eagle Magazines

Hoping to get some direction on where I can purchase replacement magazines for my Baby Desert Eagle pistol.

It's the Compact .40s&w version, model MR9400rb.

It's my favorite gun and I only own 1 magazine. Time to get a few spares but I'm stumped on what to get on where to get it . Anyone know the right part number or any compatible magazines out there? Everything I see is for the second generation model but mine is the older Magnum Research one made in Israel .

They are listed as in stock at multiple places online. Midway and gun mag warehouse has compact mags and cdnn lists the full size 13 rounders.

It's a CZ/Tanfoglio derivative, so I suspect it would also accept CZ compatible mags.

The compact Tanfoglio model guns (or anything based on the Tanfoglio version of the CZ design, like Witnesses) GENERALLY work well with CZ compact mags. But understand that the CZ mags are a bit longer and hold an extra round or two. (The Tanfoglio compact mags are too short for a CZ compact.)

For range use they'd be fine, but if you can find mags made for the gun, you might be better off.

The witness guns are large frame, the Jericho guns are small frame. Mags will not interchange.

Some of the Witness polymer compacts and other guns based on the CZ pattern offered by EAA are also small frame. They can use CZ mags, but the compact CZ mags are a bit LONGER than the stock/factory mags.

I would hold out for original magazines if you can find them. The .40 S&W baby eagle is a different design than the 9mm and IDK if any of that applies to the magazines.

This site has original Magnum Research mags for sale and the prices aren't bad. I bought Sig mags there are they were only $34.
